How to Join
Everything you need to start playing Light Volleyball.
The Best Way? Show Up.
The best way to discover Light Volleyball is to show up. Visit a local club, watch a game, talk to the organiser and players. Feel the energy, see the smiles. This is a community sport — it comes alive when you're part of a group, playing as a team, surrounded by people you're comfortable with. No video or article can replace that.
A Note on Safety
Light Volleyball is a social sport that involves running, jumping, and occasional body contact. As with any physical activity, there is some risk of injury. Make sure you have a basic level of flexibility and strength before joining, and try a session to see if it suits you. If you have any health concerns, please consult your doctor first.
4 Steps to Get Started
Find a club near you
Check ClubNTeam for Light Volleyball clubs in your city. Look for weekly social sessions — these are open to all levels.
Show up and watch
Visit a session as a spectator first. See how the game works, meet the organiser, chat with players. Everyone was new once.
Join a game
No experience needed. Teams are formed on the spot, and experienced players will help you. The ball is soft, the net is low — you'll be playing within minutes.
Come back next week
The magic happens when you return. You'll recognise faces, improve your game, and become part of the community. That's when it stops being a sport and starts being a lifestyle.
What to Expect
No skill required
Light Volleyball is designed for beginners. The softer ball and lower net make it easy to start from day one.
All ages welcome
Players range from 20 to 70+. Mixed ages, mixed genders, mixed levels — everyone plays together.
Bring yourself
Wear comfortable sports clothes and shoes. The club provides the ball, net, and court. Just show up.
Low cost
Most sessions just charge a small court fee. No membership needed. Free to watch or try.
